Hello,
Allow me to join this discussion. I have exactly the same error message in
my event viewer. It happened after I powered down my PC while it was
stopping. After the next restart I saw these errors.

As a result, a lot of actions don't work anymore, such as:
- it does not recognise when I insert a USB memory stick
- I cannot create a "New" question or comment on this newsgroup...
In "Services", I also see the status "Starting" for DCOM.
I would appreciate some help.

Does the admin pull the data disk or system disk out of SBS 2003 server? If
it is a system disk, it is better that you may need to reinstall the system.

| Last week our office admin pulled the harddrive out of our SBS 2003
