Re: RWW stopped working
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
What happens if a user who can not connect to his/her desktop using RWW
remotely tries the same thing on the LAN? If it works on the LAN, you can
rule out the desktop PC and focus on the firewall (I'd start by re-running
the CEICW). If it's that and you can't figure it out, please post more
details (standard or premium, ISA, hardware router or firewall device?).
If you think it's the desktop, I'd start by going to the SBS console ->
Client Computers. Click Assign Applications to Client Computers. De-select
everything you can (it'll probably make you keep the SP stuff). Select one
of the computers on the first screen, and on the next screen click Advanced
to apply the remote desktop settings to the desktop. Log in as admin and
run /connectcomputer to apply the settings.

RWW has stopped working for our users who connect to their desktops. I
checked and port 4125 is open. I also connected using RWW to connect to
the
server desktop and it worked fine.
Any ideas on what to check next.
