Hi,
SBS 2003, Outlook 2003
I have added an Access file (.mdb) file to a folder in 'All Public
Folders' so that it can be shared and edited by a number of users.
However, when we try to open it the message ' Can't open this item.
Outlook blocked access to this potentially unsafe item'.
How can I change the settings to allow this item to be opened?
Cheers
Lenny
You can play with this:
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.htm
However, Exchange is not a file server....and doesn't work awfully well when
you try to treat it as one. Don't expect it to work as it would in the file
system (simultaneous access, record locking)...and don't put an Access
database in a public folder.
