Dear Customer,
Thank you for posting to the SBS Newsgroup.
I am sorry but from your description, I cannot have a clear idea what exact
your concern is. In order to supplement your description, I need your help
to gather the following information:
1. Please explain in detail "create multiple read-only folders where
multiple accounts can I/O files within them". I am not sure what exact
Permission you want to configure:
a. Read Only Permission?
OR
b. Read & Execute Permissions?
2. Also, please explain in detail "that i dont want people to move". Do you
mean Copy/paste, or move the folders/files from one place to another place?
3. For your information if you want to configure Read Only Permission for :
a. Open Server Management\Distribution Groups.
b. On the right pane, click Add a Distribution Group and run the Add
Distribution Group Wizard.
c. Finish the wizard.
d. Right click the Shared Folders you want to configure the permissions,
and select Properties.
e. On the Sharing tab, click Permissions.
f. Add the Distribution Group in and only assign Read permission.
g. On the Security tab, also add this Distribution Group in and assign Read
permission.
h. Click OK.
If you have any further questions or concern, please let me know. I am
looking forward to hearing from you!
Best regards,
Brandy Nee

I would like to create multiple read-only folders where multiple
accounts can I/O files within them. Could someone tell me how to do
this? I think i start of by creating a security group and adding all
people to this security group. Then i add this security group to all
folders that i dont want people to move....
