Hello,
Thank you for posting in the SBS newsgroup.
According to your description, I understand that you always receive the
Event Error "Service Control Manager, 7011" during logon or logoff of the
SBS Server from either Remote Desktop or from the console. If I have
misunderstood the problem, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Based on my research, please first try the following steps, and then check
if the issue can be resolved:
I. Please try to change the autodisconnect value for the LAN setting
under the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters
Set the Autodisconnect value to 0xfffff. See the following KB article
138365 for an article describing the Autodisconnect parameter. The value
0xfffff is the highest value allowed on a domain controller. The default
value on my SBS 2003 server was 0xf.

II. If the above information does not help, please kindly try the
following setps:
1. Start Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).
2. To change the value data for the ServicesPipeTimeout DWORD value to
60000 or more in the Control key, follow these steps:
a. Locate and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet
b. Click the "Control" subkey
c. Right-click the "ServicesPipeTimeout" DWORD value, and then click
"Modify".
d. Click "Decimal".
e. Type "60000" (without the quotation marks) or more, and then click "OK".
3. If the "ServicesPipeTimeout" value is <not> available, add the new DWORD
value, and then set its value data to 60000 in the Control key. To do so,
follow these steps:
a. Locate and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet
b. Click the "Control" subkey.
c. On the "Edit" menu, point to "New", and then click "DWORD Value".
d. Type "ServicesPipeTimeout" (without the quotation marks), and then
press ENTER.
e. Right-click the "ServicesPipeTimeout" DWORD value, and then click
"Modify".
f. Click "Decimal".
g. Type a value of "60000" (without the quotation marks) or more, and then
click "OK".
HINT: The value is 60000 milliseconds and is equivalent to 60 seconds or to
one minute. Note This change does not take effect until the computer is
restarted.
For more information, please refer to the following MS KB article:

If the issue still persists, please kindly help me collect the following
information for further analysis:
1. Are there any additional DCs in SBS domain?
2. If no, on the SBS Server, go to Start -> Run "services.msc", right click
File Replication Service, select Stop. Will this issue persist?
I appreciate your time and cooperation.
Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any further concerns, I
am looking forward to hearing from you.
Have a nice weekend!
Best regards,
Nathan Liu (MSFT)

I've found others w/ this problem, or similar, on the i-net, but no
solutions. I seem to get my errors either during logon or logoff of
the server from either remote desktop or from the console. Does anyone
have any idea??? Thanks.
