Yep I checked the microsoft site and got the same info. Any detailed info
on
how to increase the size after installed to > 18 GB would be helpful.
Thanks

Help.

Problem - the priv1.edb has reached its limit.

I am looking at 2 solutions.
1. install exchange server pack 2 and hope the database can be
restarted.
2. Delete the priv1.edb file and let it reset itself. ( see other
posted
item regarding this).

The users use outlook 2003 on there machines and have there folders on
there
machines which sync with exchange. This is a new user install so I
dont
care
about the email sent using the server.

The error listed below seems to be the problem
Information Store (4268) First Storage Group: The database D:\Program
Files\Exchsrvr\MDBDATA\priv1.edb has reached its maximum size of 16383
MB.
If
the database cannot be restarted, an offline defragmentation may be
performed
to reduce its size.
