Thank you for posting back!
It seems that I did not clarify enough in my previous reply.
The NTbackup.exe backs up all the Event Log files
(c:\windows\system32\config), however, the event logs are backed up in
System State other than individual files, so we cannot restore individual
event logs from Backup.
I am going to to more research on your concern. If I have any results, I
will update you ASAP. Or you have any further questions or concern, please

Thanks very much for your help Brandy,
I thought it seemed a little odd that such important files were not
backed up by default,
I do have one further question though...
How do I restore the files without restoring the whole server. I only
had one corrupted application log file and don't want to have to
restore the entire system just to get it back...
