RE: Archive Information didn;t transfer over correctly

Hi LMI£¬

Thanks for using the SBS newsgroup.

From your description, I understand the issue to be: the outlook archived
information can not be imported in another workstation. If I am off base,
please don't hesitate to let me know.

Yes, you can copy all achieved information (.pst files) to the new
computer. However you need not put them in the same location with the old
computer. You can do as follows to make the achieved information show in
outlook:

1. Start Outlook in the new computer, click File -> open -> Outlook Data
File..
2. Choose achieved information in appropriate location.

Hope above information helps! Please let me know if you have further
question on the issue. I am happy to be of assistance to you and look
forward to your reply!

Have a nice day!

Sincerely,

Jenny Wu

I just received a new laptop in this morning i launched my users sales
profile open outlook to try and transfer over all his outlook information.
For some reason the Archive information didn;t come over. I went back into
his old laptop and navigated to were his stored achive information was
(C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook)
and
copied all the archive information.

Can i just place this file on the new laptop in the same directory
location
will this affect anything else on the newer laptop. And if i can;t move it
how can i transfer this information?
