HELP!
I have a Dell PowerEdge SC420 and have updated the BIOS and all the
drivers.
I had 2 gigs of RAM in dual channel. I purchased 2 more gigs (2 x 1gig)
and
put them in also in the dual channel configuration. When i boot the
server
and look in the BIOS it says 4.0 GB RAM and it knows they are all there
and
that i have 4 1 gig sticks all unbuffered and all non-ecc. The problem is
when i boot into Server 2003 Standard the windows properties shows that i
only have ~ 3.36 Gigs or RAM. Any ideas as to why this is happening?? Is
there some fix for this please help. Thanks. Oh and just for reference
the
only thing i can find that is even remotely close to the issue i am having
is
listed below... (however i am not using windows XP)
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888137/en-us
Please help ASAP.
Thanks
-Ryan
