Hi,
Thanks for taking time to respond.
The Armel Directory has used to store the certificate file; the true
directory name is created during the Step #3.
From your reply, I know you want to know how to install the Active Xcomponent to IE in mobile device. If I am off base, please feel free to let
me know.
If you want to install the Active X component to IE in Windows Mobile 5.0
based device, you can use the following tool to perform this task:
Microsoft Exchange Server ActiveSync Certificate-Based Authentication Tool
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=82510e18-7965-4883-
a8c3-f73f1f4733ac&DisplayLang=en
Unfortunately, you cannot be implemented unless MSFP is pre-installed in
Windows Mobile 5.0. You may have to contact your mobile phone vendor to
confirm this. Even Active X is installed on Pocket PC, based on our
experience, it will not be possible to install certificate in Pocket PC
directly by accessing website.
And if you would insists on installing ActiveX in Pocket PC, please post
this question in the <microsoft.public.pocketpc> newsgroup. The
<microsoft.public.pocketpc> newsgroup is primarily for issues involving
Pocket PC. The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will
get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other peoples who read the
newsgroups regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your
interaction with us.
I hope the above information helps.
Have a nice day.
Best Regards,
Steven Zhu
