I'm curious. Just what in the manual process couldn't be accomplished with a
little code and some decent scripts?

Because I honestly am not sure... at least in the time frame of SBS 2003
that a wizard could be built to automate that given the nature of the SBS
beast. Nor am I sure it honestly can be done now.
We do too many wacky things in SBSland to be trying to build a wizard that
grabs the glue of AD and sucks it out.

I just had the experience of installing a new SBS 2003 into an
existing Windows 2000 domain. All in all, it went okay, and I was able to
handle all the "gotchas" that arose without too much brandy. Still, the
process made me wonder why Microsoft couldn't have created an "Install
Into
Existing Domain Wizard." Having to stop the integrated SBS install to
prepare Active Directory and DNS manually was like having to exit I-95 in
Trenton and take US-1 to Woodbridge because no one ever cared to finish
I-95
in New Jersey.
