Jim, read the prior two responses to your post carefully. To reiterate:

NO! You do NOT want to delete those .log files

The fact that they are there ar eindicative that you are not properly backing up your Exchange database.

No! You do NOT want to dwelete those .log files

Hi

Can old files of E000XXXX.log be deleted from C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\MDBDATA dir?

If yes, wonder if I could configure the system to remove old log files automatically, i.e retain only last 30 days data.

Appreciate if anyone can advise me.

Thanks
Jim
