Can you advise how I should set the second NIC? I believe the wizard notices
that I have a second NIC and wants it set up. I also believe that when it
asks this it notes that this will allow access from the outside, and that is
why I refrained from setting it up at first.

Run the Connect to the Internet wizard, and leave the ISP DNS forwarders.
blank - and see if that helps.
As Susan mentioned, you really should have SBS as the DHCP server, the
router doesn't have the same DHCP options that the SBS DHCP will have.
For two nics - here's a good read:
http://www.smallbizserver.net (it used to be a better read - but the menu
changed and now you'll have to poke around for the network page).

After installing SBS2003 my internet access is much slower. Many times
pages
cannot be displayed as well. I read another post which asked whether the
user was using 1 or 2 NICs. My server has 2 nics and I am only using one.
In addition, my router is doing DHCP, but another post said that SBS is
happier if it is the DHPC server.
Can you help me understand how I should have the two NICs set? I can make
my SBS2003 run as DHCP server instead of the router if you think that will
help my issue.
Thanks for your assistance,
Sally
