Can anyone recommend good wireless USB/PCI adapters? I have to network
a satellite office with 5 PCs. The owner adamantly refuses to install
cabling, so I am looking for a good wireless solution. I need decent
security and robust hardware and firmware. Price is not a crucial
consideration (within reason).
I am planning on getting a SonicWall TZ150 as the wireless hub/router,
if that makes a difference to your recommendations.
Thanks,
Ezra Herman
Wireless networking is the spawn of the devil! Seriously if I was going to
comply with the owners "adamant" desire to go wireless I would have him
agree in advance to a time & materials contract with the clear understanding
that it will take more time to setup and maintain than a wired network.
Maybe a lot more time.
Why not use the 2 NIC method shown at:
http://www.smallbizserver.net/Default.aspx?tabid=154
Then connect your server's internal NIC to a wireless access point instead
of a wireless router?
.
