I was able to import from a CSV into my contacts. What I had to do then,
was open each contact, and make sure that the fax# was entered as
12345678910, and not 1-234-567-8910 or +1-(234)567-8910
That's been working.
Today though, we got some complaints that people were recving multiple
faxes, 10-15, even though the fax console showed that they either got it
once, or that the fax failed.
I think for faxing a quick email this will work, but for creating a fax
DL for broadcast faxing, we'll need a different product.

I have followed the instructions in this post and imported a CSV file into a
Contacts list which can be selected when sending out a fax to multiple
contacts. The problem is: when the contact's fax numbers are copied to the
fax distribution list, the long distance code (+1) is lost and the fax system
tries to dial the number as a local call. The Contact list in outlook
appears to be formatted correctly and I have setup the phone and modem
setting in the control panel on the 2003 SBS and the local users PC with the
local area code, but still have this same problem.

Is it possible to setup fax distribution lists in SBS2k3?
I imagine you'd have to add all members to a specific folder, like a
public folder as contacts, then group all of them as a distribution
list...correct?
Trying to find the best way to broadcast fax documents from Outlook w/ SBS.
Thanks
