Re: Remotewebworkplace

Hi Arnold,

Thank you for posting back and we're happy to hear that the original issue
has been resolved.

For the 2nd question, I'd like to provide the following info for your
reference:

1. The Default Web Site has the C:\inetpub\wwwroot\default.htm as the
default home page.
2. You can put the new site under C:\inetpub\wwwroot folder.
3. Rename the orignal default.htm to defaul.ht_.

[Note] Please do not delete other folders or virtual directories under
Default Web Site in IIS. Changing other settings will cause some features
in SBS not working properly (such as backup and monitoring...).

4. If you want to configure which file under C:\inetpub\wwwroot as the
default web page, follow these steps:

a) Open IIS.
b) Open Default Web Site properties.
c) Click Documents tab.
d) Click Add to key in the file name that you want to set as home page.

I hope the above info helps.

If you have further questions or the above suggestion does not work, I
recommend you to create a new thread in SBS newsgroup or in IIS newsgroup
to keep this thread clean.

Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to hearing from you
here again.

Regards,

Bill Peng

| Hello Cliff,
|
| thank you for your answer.
| The Problem was that i installed not the correct certificate for this
| domian.
| Now it works. Thanks a lot.
|
| But i have one more question:
| if i now access http://FQDN then there appear a site "Welcome ... Small
| Business Server" with 4 Links.
| 1. My Companys internal website...
| 2. Network...
| 3. Remote...
| 4. ...
|
| How can i cause SBS not to do this.
| I will later use this http://FQDN for the external web site.
|
| sincerely
| Arnold
