Dear Customer,
This is Cliff, the owner of this newsgroup. I have reviewed the thread and also talked with Brandy. As I know this is a by-design feature in Windows which will not
remeber the folder sharing information for removable disk. When you unplug a remoable disk, for example a USB disk, Windows removes the drive allocated for the USB
disk and the sharing information will lost. Next time when you re-plug the disk, Windows will re-allocate a drive letter to the disk and you have to reshare the drive. This is
so-called "removable disk" and we should not treat it as a fixed disk and keep its drive letter and sharing information.
I hope the above information explains the problem you are having.
Sincerely,
Cliff Zhang
