Dear Customer,
Thank you for posting to the SBS Newsgroup.
I am sorry for the delayed response due to the weekend. Please understand
that the newsgroups are staffed weekdays by Microsoft Support professionals
to answer your systems and applications questions. Your understanding is
greatly appreciated!
I am sorry but I am not very clear what exact issue you are experiencing.
In order to supplement your description, I need your help to gather the
following information for research:
1. Where did you install the Fax Service? On the SBS 2K3 Server OR the
Terminal Server?
2. Where did you install the Fax modem? On the SBS 2K3 Server OR the
Terminal Server?
3. What is the exact fax modem brand and modem, please?
4. What is the Terminal Server? Windows 2000 Server or Windows Server 2003?
5. What is the instruction? Could you let me know the web link or the file
name, please?
6. You mentioned "fax does not work for any user on the TS". I need to know
the exact steps your clients send fax. For example:
a. Send fax to the SBS Server from the Terminal Server.
OR
b. Send fax to the Terminal Server from the Client workstations.
7. Do you encounter any error message? If yes, at which step did you
encounter? Please type the full error message word by word to the Newsgroup
for accurate research. I also strongly suggest that you capture a screen
shot for the error message to the Newsgroup.
8. Can you send fax through Start -> All Programs -> Accessories ->
Communications -> Fax -> Send a Fax?
I greatly appreciate your time and co-operation. Please take your time to
gather the information for research. I am looking forward to hearing from
you!
Best regards,
Brandy Nee
