Centralized storage/management of mail (which also means you can access it
from multiple locations)
No easily corrupted PST files
Collaboration/sharing
Ability to create/modify your own email addresses without calling an ISP
Etc.

Oh, it shouldn't be. That said, even though SBS has all sorts of wizards and
is somewhat marketed as being as simple to operate as a toaster-oven, it's a
complex system, and if you don't have a lot of experience with
domains/Active Directory/Exchange/etc, it may be wise to get an experienced
consultant in to set it up and show you how to do the daily admin, which
should be minimal. A badly configured server is probably worse than none at
all. That said, if you can play with it in a test environment and see what
breaks, you'll be in good shape....got spare hardware?
