Switching SBS2003/Exchange to Native mode

I've had about four people tell me that in order to have security groups
apply to Exchange mailbox permissions, I need to be running Exchange in
Native mode.

Further digging shows that switching Exchange to Native mode in SBS2003
partially "breaks" the Add Distribution Group wizard (you have to deselect
the public folder archiving and re-enable it in the folder properties
later).

So, other than this issue, are there any other negative implications to
switching Exchange to native mode from mixed mode?

Are there any risks in doing it?

We have just the one SBS server on our net. No other servers of any type
lurking around.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Oh and why the heck doesn't MS ship SBS 2003 with Native mode enabled (and
the wizard fixed) since SBS is, by design, a single server solution?
