Sharepoint Backup & Restore

Today i had to move our sharepoint DB to our D drive as C was getting
full.

This has all been completed and works fine.

However I still have the following problem:

As well as using backup software for tape backup I also have scheduled
tasks to run a backup of the sharepoint DB using Stsadm.exe after
followng these guidlines:

However i have attempted a test of restoring a site however as my C
drive does not have enough space (only 2GB left) it fails.

This is becuase during restoration it creates a STS_RESTORE DB which
automatically goes onto the c drive and as this is 1GB in size and the
tempDB file reaches 1GB in size during the operation i run out of
space.

What I am trying to ask in a long winded way is how do i get it to
create the STS_RESTORE DB on my D drive?
