Re: Out going mail problem

When you configure Outlook for POP3 accounts are you sending with an email
address of user@xxxxxxxxxxx? If so, your ISP's SMTP server may not reject
the outgoing mail. However, with Exchange, you're sending with
user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx and the ISP's SMTP server may be recognizing that email
as coming from a foreign domain. Authenticating to the SMTP server before
sending the email (using a Smarthost) may fix the problem.
