Thanks for your reply. Log files on their way. There are three screen
shots to look at. Can I just say that this is not an installation of SBS
followed by SP1. This is an install of SBS SP1 Premium Edition.

The MSDE files installed in their own directory.

SQL Server has not been installed and we don't want to either.
