Yes, it is better to turn of DHCP on the router and get your DHCP settings
from the SBS.
Also, all members of an Active Directory (including the DC's themselves)
should look _only_ to AD Integrated DNS servers for name resolution. The AD
integrated servers can then use either 'root hints' or 'forwarders' to
satisfy name resolution outside the AD.
Using my preferred way to fix it remotely is not possible. It involves
changing the IP of the SBS (twice if you don't also want to change your
router config).
Doing it my way.
Disable DHCP on the router.
Run the 'Change Server IP Address' wizard from the 'Internet and Email'
section of the SBS console, changing the IP to a different subnet.
Run the 'Change Server IP Address' wiz a 2nd time to return the server to
it's original IP. (Alternately, you can change the router IP to suit the new
subnet)
Run the CEICW ('Connect to the Internet' item, to-do list)
Clear and save all event logs.
Restart the server with all workstations turned off.
Give it ten minutes and check your event logs for any errors. (There should
be none)
Start all workstations and ensure they are getting DHCP leases from the
server.
The two wizards do a lot of things which their names do not necessarily
imply.
