RE: Terminal Services Error 10061 after installing KB905915

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi Walter,

Thanks for using the SBS newsgroup.

Before we go further, please kindly help me collect some information to
isolate the issue:

1. Please try to reboot the server box, can you find any error messages? If
yes, what is the exact error information?

2. What is the exact error message you receive when you try to connect to
the server box with domain admin account? Please capture a screen shot of
the error message.

To take a screen shot:
A. Press Alt + Pr Scrn to capture a screen shot.
B. From Start, go to Run, enter pbrush in the Open box, and then click OK.
C. Use Ctrl + V to paste the screen shot to the canvas.
D. From the File menu, go to Save and save as a JPG file.

3. Can you tell me the detailed error information-Terminal Services Error
10061? Also please capture a careen shot of the error information.

4. What is the Maximum Connections number showed in your Terminal Services
Configuration console Properties -> Network Adapter? The SBS 2003 can not
support Terminal Services in Application Server mode, the maximum number of
connections allowed is 2, we can not change it to a larger number.

5. Please save the text of application and system logs for analysis.

To save a text copy of Application /System log:

A. Open Event Viewer: Start -> All Programs -> Administrative Tools ->
Event Viewer.
B. Right-click on Application/System log and select "Save Log File As?".

Please compress all files to a zip file and mail it to:
v-yanniw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I appreciate your time! I am happy to be of assistance to you and look
forward to your reply!

Have a nice day!

Sincerely,

Jenny Wu
