Thanks for using the SBS newsgroup.
>From your description, I understand the issue to be: you can not view usage
report for SBS 2003 remotely. If I am off base, please let me know.
Let"us perform the following tests to try to resolve the issue:
I. Please check the setting in IIS:
1. Open IIS snap-in.
2. Go to Default Web Site/Remote.
3. Right click Remote and click Properties.
4. Click Directory Security tab.
5. Click Edit under "Authentication and access control".
6. Make sure that only the "Integrated Windows Authentication" is checked.
7. Click Edit under "IP address and domain name restriction".
8. Make sure that "Granted access" has been selected.
Please double-check the default application pool in IIS. To do so:
1. Open IIS Manager.
2. Go to Server/Application Pools/DefaultAppPool.
3. Right click DefaultAppPool and click Properties.
4. Click the Identity tab.
5. Make sure the application pool is using "Predefined: Network Service" as
its identiry.
And then please restart IIS services to see if the issue persists.
If the issue persists, please verify the IE security settings on client
computer to see if it helps.
1. Start up Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
2. On the Security tab, click "Local Intranet" icon and then click
"Customize Level" button to set Security level as "Medium-low" or "Low" and
click "reset" button to take effect the configuration.
3. Input URL: http://servername/Monitoring to test, how about the result?
Please note: the user account you used to access the
http://servername/monitoring must be a member of Usage Report users group.
If the issue persists, please try to logon the SBS server box with domain
admin user account and then access the monitoring site, can you access it
successfully? If not, please tell me the exact error message or catch a
screen shot for analysis.
To make a screen shot:
A. Press Alt + Pr Scrn to capture a screen shot.
B. From Start, go to Run, enter pbrush in the Open box, and then click OK.
C. Use Ctrl + V to paste the screen shot to the canvas.
D. From the File menu, go to Save and save as a JPG file.

And also please help me collect some information for further analyze:
1. Have you installed ISA? What is the version? ISA 2000 or ISA 2004? Or
any third party firewall application?
2. Can you view server status report in server management console properly?
Please try to change another client workstation to access the monitoring
site to test, how about the result?
3. Please also send me the IIS log file for further analysis:
a. Open IIS MMC, right click Default Web Site and then click Properties.
b. Click Website tab and then check Enable logging.
c. Stop the Default Website and rename the existing IIS log files under
C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles.
d. Restart the Default Website and try Server Activesync to reproduce the
problem.
e. Go to the following folder: C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles.
f. Send me the log file to my working email address v-yanniw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
4. Can you find any related error event logged in Event Viewer on the
client computer or the server box? If yes, please paste the exact error
information in the newsgroup.
