RE: Cannot fix "Companyweb" Intranet... Please Help...

Dear Customer,

Thank you for posting to the SBS Newsgroup.

>From your description, I understand that you have intranet problem on SBS
2K3 Server. If I have misunderstood your concern, please let me know.

I am sorry that from your post, I am not sure what exact issue you are
experiencing, e.g. cannot reinstall Companyweb per KB 829114, or cannot
access Companyweb. Due to lack of detail information, I need your help to
gather following information for troubleshooting:

1. Please explain in detail "Cannot fix 'Companyweb' Intranet" and "fallen
short of accomplishing my goal". What exact issue do you meet?

2. When you reinstalling Companyweb per KB 829114, did you meet any error
message? If so, at which step? Please capture a screen shot for the error
message and send it to the Newsgroup.

3. Can you access companyweb (http://companyweb) from SBS Server Console?
If you cannot access, please open IE -> Tools -> Internet Options ->
Advanced -> Uncheck the box "Show friendly HTTP error messages". Reproduce
the issue, capture a screen shot for the error message and paste it to the
Newsgroup.

4. Can you access Companyweb from domain client workstations? If you cannot
access, please open IE -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Uncheck
the box "Show friendly HTTP error messages". Reproduce the issue, capture a
screen shot for the error message and paste it to the Newsgroup.

5. Just to double confirm, did companyweb work correctly before? Also, are
you running SBS 2K3 Premium Edition? Since we do not have "SBS 2003
Enterprise". SBS 2K3 Server has another edition which is Standard Edition.

Please take your time to perform the steps and gather the information as
require. I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,

Brandy Nee
