Re: Untangling two - server network

I have a project guide for migration and upgrade of SBS servers which guides
you through transparent replacement of an existing SBS server with a new one
running the same product version or replacement, and accomplishes this in a
transparent method. This is described in more detail at
www.SBSmigration.com.

The Domain Audit Guide I provide as part of the Swing It!! Kit is a
checklist that covers:
Domain Configuration (as in setup)
DC Operations (replication health)
Network Adapter Settings
DNS Server Settings
Administrator Groups
Critical Administrator Policy concerns
SMB Signing

That guide is intended to inform you how to correctly reconfigure an SBS for
normal operations, when it has been poorly configured. It's not exactly what
you asked for, but I do provide support to IT Pro in migration, upgrades and
disaster recovery situations.

That documentation together with the CEICW covers the majority of what folks
need for DC operations, but it doesn't yet include Exchange configuration. I
will be producing a more robust version of the Domain Audit Guide in the
next several months that will be available standalone from the Swing It!!
Kit for essentially the purpose you have requested, and with the balance of
the health check information most of us would normally use when we meet an
SBS for the first time that someone else has built or operated poorly.

I don't currently sell the Domain Audit Guide separately from the Swing It!!
Kit, but that will be coming once I have the balance of the audit
information fully documented. I do provide support for migration and repair
of servers as part of the Kit itself, if that's of interest to you, I'd be
happy to assist you. You can contact me directly or reply back here if you
have any questions.
