I am sorry that I did not clarify in my last reply. The KB article 871149
is just a REFERENCE for you how stsadm.exe uses. In your 23rd Dec reply,
you mentioned you want to know how stsadm.exe works, so I found KB 871149
as an example and reference to understand stsadm.exe.
KB 871149 is talk about after install Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services
Service Pack 1 (SP1), you may find that the version number that is listed
in Site Settings is not updated to the version number that is for Windows
SharePoint Services SP1. So we use stsadm.exe to force an upgrade that will
update the Site Settings version.
By the way, on the SBS Server, run "eventvwr" (without quotation marks),
check whether there are any errors in Application and System. If yes,
double click it, click the Copy button and paste the full content to the
Newsgroup.
