RE: Fail to load scdb.dll

HI,

Thanks for your updates.

After carefully checking your regmon log, we found none of the item was
load, but we did not find any useful information relate to the DLL file you
encountered, if possible could you run the main.cpl or mmsys.cpl on the
command line as a try to see if you can open the item on the control panel,
if not the problem should be caused by some third party software caused the
control panel file corrupt.

Please also send me the filemon log also, we found you have run the intel
anti-virus software or some third party intel tools, have you installed any
other third party tools?

Thanks for your understanding on this issue.

Best regards,

Charles Yang (MSFT)

| HI,
|
| Thanks for updates.
|
| As this is the third party issue, we do not think uninstall the control
| panel will resolve the issue also as I know we may have to reinstall the
| SBS server if you want to reinstall control panel.
|
| If you want to further trouble shoot this issue, we may have to use
regmon
| for further troubleshooting. It might be a little long process, you can
| refer to my suggestion below:
|
| You can download the regmon from the following location:
|
| http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Regmon.html
|
| After download it, you can start the regmon and reproduce the issue then
| stop the regmon capture and then save as the log file and send to me.
|
| You can also use the same way to make a filemon log and send to me.
| (filemon can be download on the same site)
|
| My email is v-chayan@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
|
| Thanks for your efforts.
|
|
|
| Best regards,
