RE: RWW fails from Internet

HI,

Thanks for updates.

I am the backup of Crina. After checking the information we found you could
not open port 80. Here I would like to gather some other information:

1. Do you encounter any problem in accessing the OWA?
2. When you access the RWW from internet, do you get a warning message for
certificate issue? https://public ip/exchange
3. Please also tell us the detailed http error (http 4xx.x error) you
encounter when you access RWW.
4. If you try to telnet public IP :443 to see if what is results.

I appreciate your effort on this issue. Please feel free to post back your
results.

Best regards,

Charles Yang (MSFT)

| I openned it, and it still fails in the same way.

| All users can access from inside the LAN. From the outside, the login
page is
| never displayed so there is no way to test if any user can access.

| Ok.
|
| I ran through some of the suggestions you made below. Specifically, I
checked
| the settings within IIS and restarted the services. I also changed the
| Web.config as described but the error page was the same as I usually get.
|
| There was some interesting output from MSKB 886209 which asks you to run:
| netstat -aon | find ":4125"
| directly on the SBS server. When I do this, I get nothing. That is, there
is no
| output. Hitting enter just gives me the prompt again. When I change the
port to
| something like 443, I get the correct output. What does this mean?
