problem with pop3 connector

I have installed SBS2003 and have a problem with the configuration of emails
:

I have created a user with the following data:
user name : abj
email adress : a.boullard@xxxxxxxxxxx

I have created a connector in the pop3 connector and linked it to the user
mailbox : abj

When I send an email, everything is OK.
When I receive the email, it seems to be redirecting to the adress
a.boullard@xxxxxxxxxxx instead of abj@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

How can I solve this problem ?

When I change the user email adress to abj@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, I can receive
emails, but when I send emails, it is using this adress for sending and an
error message is coming back because this is an invalid adress for my
internet provider.
