RE: RWW not accessible from remote systems

Hello Kyle,

Thank you for posting to the SBS Newsgroup.

I understand that you cannot access RWW either in LAN or from the Internet.
if I have misunderstood your issue, please let me know.

Based on my experience, there are varies of factors can cause this issue.
Please understand due to complicated of the issue, we need to gather more
detail information and it takes time to troubleshoot. Thanks a lot for your
understanding and co-operation!

1. Does this issue occur to all clients or several clients?

2. When did the issue occur? Did you make any changes or install software
(e.g. CRM) on SBS Server?

3. Please follow the resolution below to turn off the friendly error
messages.

a. Make a copy of Inetpub\Remote\Web.config for backup purpose.

b. Open Web.config with Notepad

c. Replace <customErrors mode="On" defaultRedirect="error.aspx" /> with
<customErrors mode="Off" />

d. Save the file.

e. Go to command prompt, type "iisreset".

f. Logon to RWW using the administrator account, and also try it using a
regular user account.

g. You should receive a more detailed error message. Copy and paste the
FULL error message here.

h. Replace Web.config with the original one and run "iisreset" when testing
is done.

Please take your time to gather the information. If you have any updates,
please feel free to post back. I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,

Brandy Nee
