HI Mr Wang,
Welcome to SBS newsgroup.
Issue description:
=============
I understand that you encountered error 80070426 when using SBS backup
wizard to backup the SBS system to a tape driver.
Analyzing and suggestion:
==============
Generally speaking, the issue might be caused by many factors, in order to
isolate the issue, please help gather some information:
1. If you use SBS backup wizard to backup it to the hard disk, does the
issue exists or not?
2. Could you help gather the hardware information of your tape driver so
that we can check if it compatible for our SBS 2003 server.
3. If possible, please use NTbackup to do a test backup to the tape driver
to see if the issue still exists or not?
4. Is there any error event on the event view on SBS 2003 server?
Please gather the information and post back the results, so that we can
help you identify the issue more clearly. Thanks for your effort. I am glad
to help you on this issue.
Best regards,
Charles Yang (MSFT)
