There are a lot of varying opinions on SMB signing. Here's an interesting

If you do end up disabling, I've found that the instructions on
www.smallbizserver.net are excellent and take out all of the guesswork from
the process.
As for the article, IMO all of Jesper Johansson's writings are interesting
and worth reading. You can just search on his name at www.microsoft.com to
find them.
