Hi Andy,
Thank you for posting in SBS newsgroup.
>From your description, I understand you are unable to connect to the
Internet after you use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection to log on
to terminal server. If I have misunderstood your concern, please do not
hesitate to let me know.
This issue may occur if you configure the VPN connection to use the default
gateway on the remote network. This setting overrides the default gateway
settings that you specify in your Transmission Control Protocol/Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP) settings. For detailed information, please refer to the
following KB article:
317025 You Cannot Connect to the Internet After You Connect to a VPN Server
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=317025
You may try to configure client computer's Web browsers to function as
Web-proxy clients. To do it, please refer to the following KB article:
310296 HOW TO: Configure Internet Explorer 6.0 as a Web Proxy Client in
Windows
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=310296
Hope the information help and I look forward to your reply.
Best regards,
Crina Li (MSFT)

| Hi,
| I have a terminal server set up (Running Server 2003) and I use it
daily
| as my workstation, but occasionally users work from home and need to log
in
| to the TS remotely. Problem is, users dont' have access to the internet,
the
| only site they can get to is our Sharepoint site that runs on our Small
| Business Server.
| I've looked around anywhere I can think of but can't seem to figure out
why
| they can't get access to the internet.
|
| Any info you can provide is greatly appreciated.
|
| Thanks,
| Andy
