HI,
Welcome to SBS newsgroup.
Issue description:
==============
I understand that you encountered a problem when opening control panel on
SBS 2003 server.
Analyzing and suggestion:
==============
I am sorry for not finding any useful information relate to the scdb.dll
file you refer to. In order to understand the issue more clearly, we need
to gather more information:
1. It is a new installed SBS 2003 server or a production server? Do you
install any other application before the issue occurs?
2. If possible, could you send me the screenshot when you reproduce the
problem on your SBS, you can send it to my mailbox v-chayan@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
3. Is there any other error event on the event view, please also paste it
on the newsgroup.
4. Is there any third party tools on your SBS 2003, please temporally stop
it to see if you can resolve the issue.
5. If possible, please make a clean boot on the non-business time to see if
the problem can be clear, you can make a clean boot follow the steps below:
A. Click Start, click Run, type "msconfig" (without the quotation marks)
and click OK.
B. Select "Selective Startup" and remove the checks from each item below
the Selective Startup option.
C. On the "Services" tab, click Enable All.
D. Check "Hide all Microsoft Services", click Disable All and clear "Hide
all Microsoft Services".
E. Click the OK button and then Click Yes to restart your computer.
F. Try again.
I really appreciate your effort on this issue, please feel free to let me
know the results. I will be here waiting for your updates.
Best regards,
Charles Yang (MSFT)
