trying to recover files on SBS2K3 disk using XP Pro

Can't boot into SBS2K3. I need to get files off of the disk but am
having some trouble.
By adding the disk as a slave to an XP Pro computer, I can read some
files but can't open the important "Users Shared Folders" folders ("Not
accessable. Access is denied."). Is there a way for me authenticate for
this folder or should I reset all of the permissions? Essentially, I
just want to pull the files out of this folder, back them up, and
reinstall SBS2K3. Thanks.
