RE: Installation problem with companyweb



I was able to get Sharepoint Servcies reinstalled without any errors. Now
however, the only link that works from the MSC is the Account mangement link
which brings up the database connection page. There are two settings required:
Database Server and the Database name. I'm not sure what these shoud be. I'm
using the SQL Desktop Engine, and when I navigate to it I see that there is
indeed a Sharepoint Directory, with a Master.mdf database in it, allthough I
notice that in the my saved .old database there are some filenames that look
more like Sharepoint database files. Anyways, I guess what I need to know is
the Database Server, and Database Name entries? What they should like, or
where to get the info.
