Catchall not working, EXTERNALLY?

I've tried this:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;324021
Works great WITHIN the server.
E.g. when I send using webmail.
But as soon as I send FROM ANOTHER server, I get this:
Dec 3 04:26:57 www sendmail[8456]: jB33Qf908429: to=<user@xxxxxxxxxxx>,
ctladdr=<user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> (501/100), delay=00:00:16,
xdelay=00:00:05, mailer=esmtp, pri=123200, relay=my.server.com
[my.ip.whatever], dsn=5.1.1, stat=User unknown
Dec 3 04:26:57 www sendmail[8456]: jB33Qf908429: jB33Qqx08456: DSN: User
unknown
So I have: username@xxxxxxxxxxx setup.
This works. Receives mail just fine.
Then I have *@domain2.com
Works great internally. Everything is sent to username@xxxxxxxxxxxx Really
works great INTERNALLY.
However, anything external gives that error messages...
Completely makes no sense to me??
