For Suggestion #1:
I did not install Sharepoint, so likely SP1 for it was not installed,
either. I followed the steps for installing the other SP's except that I
reversed the order of installation for ISA and SQL server (and installed ISA
2000 instead of 2004), but I don't recall seeing Active Sync 3.8 - unless it
was the K891193 update I mentioned before. Warnings and prompts pretty well
guided me thru installation of apps and SP's to make sure they were installed
in the right order. So, your suggestion is to repave & reload in the proper
order? Will I have problems with other items on the server if I don't repave?
