RE: Access/Publish SBS Web Site

Hello Barry,

Thank you for posting to the SBS Newsgroup.

I understand that you have installed SBS 2K3 SP1, and running ISA 2004 now.
You want to know how to publish and externally access SBS Web Site. If I
have misunderstood your concern, please let me know.

Due to lack of detail information for research, I need your help to gather
following information:

1. What is your Network Topology:

{Internet} {Router} {NIC1} {SBS 2K3 Server + ISA 2K4} {NIC2} {Internal
Clients}

2. You mentioned "not able to access/publish the SBS WEB site", I need to
know what exact "web site" it is?

a. Companyweb, OWA, RWW? OR

b. Those additional web sites that created by yourself.

3. Can you the web sites in LAN and From Server Console?

4. On a remote workstation, open IE -> Tools -> Internet Options ->
Advanced tab -> Uncheck the box "Show friendly HTTP error messages".
Reproduce the issue. Capture a screen shot for the error message and send
it to my mailbox.

5. Please help to gather isainfo. To do so:

1) Download the file from the following URL:

http://www.isatools.org/isainfo/ISAInfo.zip

2) Extract all files to a folder on ISA server.

3) Double click Isainfo.js. This will generate 2 files
ISAInfo2004-<computer-name>.log and ISAInfo2004-<computer-name>.xml in the
current folder.

4) Please send these files to my mailbox: v-branee@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

6. For your additional information:

We do not suggest that customers install additional web sites on SBS
Server. Since the SBS 2003 server is an integrated business solution for
small business environment, it is better to use a separate Windows server
to host the company sites. However, if you had already created a customize
web site on SBS Server, please follow the KB article below to publish web
sites:

How to publish a Web site directly on your Internet Security and
Acceleration Server 2004 computer
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;[LN];885186

Please take your time to perform the steps above and collect the
information for us to troubleshoot your issue. I am looking forward to
hearing from you!

Best regards,

Brandy Nee
