RE: Screwed up Removing Sharepoint

Hi Wallace:
Thanks for your update.

Since Brandy is taking leave today, I will continue working on this issue
with you.

I have reviewed the whole thread in this post. It appears that you have
solved the original problem. Now the problem is that domain user cannot
access the companyweb, only the domain admin has the access permission.

Regarding the current situation, I would like to suggest you try the
following action plans:
1. Open the Server Management console, navigate to Users, use the Add User
Wizard to create a new user account (Use the user template). Will this new
user be able to access the companyweb?

2. If the user can access the companyweb without difficulty, it appears
that your existing user accounts are not generated by the Add user wizard
so that they don't have access permission to the Sharepoint. You can use
the Change user permission wizard to re-configure the existing user
account.

To do that, please click the Change User Permission button, select the User
Template, then move all the problematic user accounts to the right pane,
then click Finish. By performing this step, Sharepoint access wil be
configured for the users.

Hope the above info helps. PLease feel free to let me know if you have any
questions or concerns.

Best Regards
Edward Tian(MSFT)
