Thanks for updates.
I am Charles the backup of Brandy, as the Brandy is currently sick at home.
After checking your post, I found it should be an urgent issue, so it is
your best interest to call CSS.
Here I would like to give you some suggestion on this error event.
Event 17 should be related with the backup or tape driver issue; I checked
our database and found several similar issues are caused by Veritas Backup
utility. I also noticed that there are related errors regarding backup in
your event logs. So, please confirm with us.
If you do have Veritas software, would you please temporarily disable
Veritas services for test purpose?
If you could not enter into the administrator console, it is your best
interest to call CSS, as the problem should be critical if troubleshoot in
newsgroup, it might be a long process.

| Did you check APC per my previous reply? If you're running that, it
| accounts for all of the symptoms you're describing. In any case, the
| removable storage error doesn't seem to be related to the inability to
run
