Companyweb doesn't work out of the box

I'm setting up a brand new DELL server with SBS 2003 SP1 preinstalled and
four new DELL client computers with Windows XP Pro SP2. None of the clients
can access http:\\companyweb. All get the 'Page not found error', yet they
can all find the server, Outlook 2003, the Internet and Outlook Web Access.
This seems to be a problem that was overlooked when Microsoft released SP1,
as I've installed SBS 2003 before without any such problems. Didn't they
check this companyweb is a major benefit for small businesses and
installations. Although upgraded SBS servers seem to suffer from this
problem, I didn't expect a complete out-of-the-box configuration to have it.
You can access companyweb from the server itself, so Sharepoint services are
working. It is almost like it is a Firewall or security problem. I've
tried adding companyweb to IE's Trusted Zone.
Is there a solution?
