RE: Using Public IP address behind a Private DHCP Server

Sorry for the original limited information. So I will try to address more in
my repsonse here.

The time clock is nothing more than a device (not attached to any computers)
that is connected via ethernet connection to the network. The time clock
allows for the assignment of a static IP address, subnet, gateway, etc from
its led interface as a stand alone digital interface for punch in and punch
outs.

The time clock interfaces with a third party application from ADP (automated
data payroll) in a web based application, maintained on their web-servers.
The time clock holds employee time records and then is supposed to relay that
information back to the ADP application vai the Internet.

My topology is setup as follows. T1 comes into the building and connects to
router provided by AT&T, this is connected to servers first NIC card
(Internet Network Connection). The servers 2nd NIC (Server Local Area
Connection) card provides local network connectivity back to a managed
switch.

The server (IRON1) is running SBS 2003 and for the purposes of firewall
management I have also installed ISA Server 2000, since no hardware Firewall
is between the server and the T1 router.

I have been assigned several Private IP addresses from SBC in the event that
I need them but I am currently only using one that that is the one assigned
to the first NIC card providing connectivity to the Internet (Internet
Network Connection).

In a nutshell I need to be able to provide ADP (Automated Data Processing)
one of our public IP addresses that I can assign to this time clock and they
can ping from their servers to pull data from to their off-site applications.

Thanks again for any and all responses.
