I checked the Windows Firewall. In exceptions, I have Remote Desktop Checked
and the Scope is set to "any computer". However, I did discover one other
issue- Here is a summary of issues that I found thusfar:
I can ping from the laptop to the SBS2003 computer. I can not ping from
SBS2003 to laptop (on the LAN)
*** I can view the laptop in My Network Places on the SBS2003 server and
even access the shared files and vice-versa from the laptop(on the LAN).
Interesting that I can get to files in My Network Places but not Ping the IP
Address nor the DNS Name.
I can ping and access other computers from the SBS2003 server
I can ping and access other workstations from the laptop, as well.
So ODD.......how is it possible to access files on the laptop if PING fails??
