Re: MAC client cannot access web site via ISA 2004

Fernando - it's not 100% clear what the scenario is here. Are all the Macs that are trying to access the site on the internal network? Or are they on the external network? The implication is that they are internal, but please clarify.

Also, if I understand correctly, your ISA web publishing rule directs traffic from the internet that tries to reach your public URL to a web server on the inside of your network. If you are wanting the machines on the inside of the network to access the internal web server using the public name (and by your statement the external IP address of your SBS box), the better solutino would be to set up a slipt DNS zone on your SBS box so that when an internal machine looks up the public web server name, they get the internal IP address for the web server instead of the public IP address.

Please let me know if I'm on track with my assumptions...

Good afternoon:
I am using ISA 2004 on Windows Server SBS 2003 SP1.
We have some XP SP2 clients and MAC clients in the LAN. We also have a web server which has been published to the public via the web publishing rule. Internet users can access this web site via http://www.webserver.com. However, MAC client cannot browse this web site (The XP client doesn't have this problem). To troubleshoot, I use the nslook on the MAC and the URL can be resolved to the public IP of the ISA Server without any problem. So I think this is not the DNS issue, am I right? Any help is appreciated.
