Re: Windows XP Fax Printing

Hello Chris,

Thank you for posting back!

I understand the issue persists. I am sorry that from your reply, I do not
have clear and enough information to reproduce your issue on my test
machine, so please help to gather more information for us to perform
further research:

1. Did you strictly follow my 18th Nov reply to reinstall Fax Service on
client workstations?

2. Did you meet any error message when you performing these steps? If yes,
please capture a screen shot for the error message and send it to my
mailbox.

3. In your reply, I am not very clear "unstall routine deletes the shared
fax, the install does not install it", so please explain it in detail. I
also suggest that you capture another screen shot for it so we can better
understand your scenario.

4. How did you "install it manually and it gives me a spurious amount of
jobs in its queue". Please fully describe your steps. We need to know your
exact steps so we can reproduce your issue on my side.

5. On one problematic client workstation, run "eventvwr" (without quotation
marks), check whether there is any error. If yes, double click it, click
the Copy button and paste the full content to the Newsgroup.

6. Have you installed the fax modem software on client workstations?

I greatly appreciated your time and co-operation, and am looking forward to
hearing from you!

Best regards,

Brandy Nee
