RE: Syncing fax server with company web

Hi Chandler,

Thanks for your update!

I am sorry for the delayed response due to weekend. Please understand that
the newsgroups are staffed weekdays by Microsoft Support professionals to
answer your systems and applications questions. Our goal is to provide 24
hour response to all questions. Your understanding is greatly appreciated!

For the "Store in a document library" option is missing when you run the
Configure Fax Services wizard, I suggest you perform the following steps to
try to resolve the issue:

1. Start Registry Editor (regedit) and expand to the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Fax\Routing Extensions\SBSFAX~1.DLL

2. Right click the "SBSFAX~1.DLL" key and choose Export. Export it to a
reg file as a backup.

3. Create a fax.txt file on your desktop and rename it to fax.reg.

4. Open the fax.reg file with Notepad, copy the following content between
"Start Copy" and "End Copy" to the file and save it:

***********Start Copy************

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Fax\Routing Extensions\SBSFAX~1.DLL]
"FriendlyName"="Store in a document library"
"ImageName"=hex(2):43,00,3a,00,5c,00,50,00,52,00,4f,00,47,00,52,00,41,00,7e,
00,
31,00,5c,00,4d,00,49,00,43,00,52,00,4f,00,53,00,7e,00,32,00,5c,00,43,00,4c,

00,49,00,45,00,4e,00,54,00,7e,00,31,00,5c,00,46,00,41,00,58,00,52,00,4f,00,

55,00,7e,00,31,00,5c,00,53,00,42,00,53,00,46,00,41,00,58,00,7e,00,31,00,2e,

00,44,00,4c,00,4c,00,00,00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Fax\Routing
Extensions\SBSFAX~1.DLL\Routing
Methods]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Fax\Routing
Extensions\SBSFAX~1.DLL\Routing
Methods\Store in a document library]
"FriendlyName"="Store in a document library"
"Function Name"="FaxRoutePublish"
"Guid"="{AD18492B-746F-4301-9B5D-7B82AFD944E5}"
"Priority"=dword:00000004

***********End Copy************

5. Double click the fax.reg file to import the keys and values to the
registry.

6. Restart the Fax service or reboot the server to make the changes take
effect. Then check if the issue disappears.

If the issue still occurs, please send all the logs from C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Integration\Windows Small Business Server 2003\Logs to my
mailbox v-yanniw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx (you can zip the files to make the email
smaller).

I appreciate your time. I am happy to be assistance and look forward to
your updates!

Have a nice day!

Sincerely,

Jenny Wu
